BULLHEAD CITY — With last Tuesday’s City Council approval of the Section 12 development agreement between the city and Land Liquidators, LLC, Mayor Jack Hakim was anxious to leave the rancor behind.
Tempers flared during the Aug. 6 Council meeting, in which Hakim and Council Member Sam Medrano locked horns with businessman Larry Adams, who was calling the council’s attention to what he believed were weaknesses in the agreement.
Jan Ward, who served on the council with both Hakim and Medrano from 2005 to 2009, responded, “Absolutely not,” when asked if she thought they were respectful toward Adams. “They frequently are rude,” Ward said.
