Judge Blocks New York City’s Limits on Big Sugary Drinks

NEW YORK – A judge struck down New York’s limits on large sugary drinks on Monday, one day before they were to take effect, in a significant blow to one of the most ambitious and divisive initiatives of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s tenure.

In an unusually critical opinion, Justice Milton A. Tingling Jr. of State Supreme Court in Manhattan called the limits “arbitrary and capricious,” echoing the complaints of city business owners and consumers who had deemed the rules unworkable and unenforceable, with confusing loopholes and voluminous exemptions.     Judge Blocks New York City’s Limits on Big Sugary Drinks. Legally the Judge makes him or herself responsible to the increase and antagonism of type 2 diabetes. Maybe the judge should get a lawyer.

      No Terrence, it’s the People that are out of control. Look at the fat welfare types! Restrict their EBT Cards (=food stamps) LOOK at the BS that they are buying! While your at it, look at the worthless welfare types taking up the handicap parking spaces. Romney was right 47% non Tax Paying types are parasites..
