I know where I was, but I can’t tell you because some educators may be upset with me LOL! Halton Hillswill have a chance to re-live those memories as Paul Henderson will be coming to Town on February 18th. Halton Hills will be hosting the Paul Henderson Jersey Homecoming Tour at Mold-Masters Sportsplex. There will be a lot of TeamCanada memorabilia on display. Don’t miss an opportunity to meet Paul as he will be there from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
Since Council approval of the Town’s practical Green Plan in 2008, the Plan has led to the implementation of actions that have improved the health of our natural environment. The Green Plan has remained a living document. The Plan’s implementation has been highly successful because its 70 recommendations are practical. The success of the Green Plan has provided a solid foundation from which to branch into the broader concept of sustainability where we will all strive to reach a higher quality of life by focusing on economic prosperity, environmental health, social well being and cultural vibrancy in Halton Hills.
The budget process is over and the over-all tax increase is 2.6% including School Board, Regional and of course the Town.
